i think LG has really interesting names for phones.
chocolate, viewty, shine, secret, etcetcetc.
i have a chocolate, viewty and soon, a secret?

my LG viewty decided to die on me while i was having a nice morning jog last saturday.
the next good OR bad thing is, i’m going to get LG secret.
the repair will take 3 weeks, which means i’ll be back to brisbane by then.
and my sis realised that she actually does like my phone.
so i’m the lucky one, able to buy another phone.
i bought viewty in feb, which is less than 6 months old.

secret’s a really charming phone though. xD

tuesday is fun.

i didn’t regret that i attended the SP-SCM gathering.
although there are only 6 of us from the same batch,
it was fun that we just sat down and talked to each other.
no “class-barriers” or anything. just plain talk.

i met Szeyuan earlier today for lunch at soup spoon
and mindless walking with loads of random talking.
girly-talk! it was fun just talking about ex-boyfriends. LOL!
*coughs-sze-you-know-what-i-mean*

and then results, not fantastic.
BUT PASSED ALL!
thank God for that.
though i know tomorrow, it’ll be, “WHY DIDN’T I DO BETTER?!”
and stuffs like that.

i’m happy today.
tuesday is fun. xD

when i thought.

Posted in Uncategorized on June 25, 2008 by jasminelim

when i thought on my birthday, it’ll be boring, moody, upsetting. LOL
i’m not a very nice person but i’ve got really nice friends!

yiling and i went out for KFC in the afternoon (because both of us are afternoon-wakers)
and then shopping at the supermarket for my mom’s goodies. it’s been sometime since both of us went out and i have to say, i really do miss those times. both of us stupidly pushing the trolley everywhere, from 1st level to 2nd or 3rd. well, yiling does most of the pushing. xP
because we’ve done last minute shopping before returning to singapore before, she knows what i’ll be looking out for. so that makes things fast too!

and then dinner at the japanese restaurant downstairs, instead of jacq and me, it was jacq, crystal, yiling, yokeling and me! more fun around more people. :) and jacq and crystal got a mini-cake, which was really sweet of them. i “butchered” the cake because there was no knife, we got chopsticks instead!

after a couple of hours was DIM SUM! seriously, when i’m away, i really miss dim sum. del drove to logan which was pretty far. younghee even asked jokingly if we’re still in brisbane. LOL!
this was one of the most fun dim sum session i’ve had so far. i felt bad when i realised it was 1am and we’re still at the dim sum place. sorry to younghee and del, who are working today. T_T

dear friends,
thank you for making yesterday very very memorable.
and thank you all the gifts.. and the CARD! (who chose the card?!)

*off to movies with yokeling!*

23..

Posted in Uncategorized on June 23, 2008 by jasminelim

I’m turning 23 in a couple of hours.
23 sounds far away from my current state of mind.
When I turned 21 two years again, I never thought about 22 or 23 or the future 24, 25.
Maybe, I think my age to stop at 21.

23 doesn’t sound old but yet, it doesn’t seem young.
23 sounds like a life full of ups and downs.
23 sounds like a life full of joy and sorrow.
23 sounds like a perfect age for things to be done.
At 23, I’m not sure if I’ve accomplished anything yet.

I’m still an undergrad.
I’m still studying.
I’m still living on my parents.
And, I’m still enjoying my life.

23 seems foreign.. to me.

blood type.

Type A

People with blood type A have a deep-rooted strength that helps them stay calm in a crisis when everyone else is panicking. However, they tend to avoid confrontation, and feel very uncomfortable around people. A types are shy and sometimes withdrawn. They seek harmony and are very polite, but all the same feel that they never really fit in with others. A types are very responsible. If there is a job to be done, they prefer to take care of it themselves. These people crave success and are perfectionists. They are also very creative, and the most artistic of all the blood types, most likely because of their sensitivity.

People with blood type A are also likely to be considered classic “type A’s”: stressed and conscientious.
